Social Work Manager
Anastacia is a social worker at Home of Hope Dream Center fueled by composition and the desires of her heart to serve people who need her services. She hold diploma in social work and community development from a recognized college. As an employee of Home of Hope, her duty is to ensure all rescued kids acquire legal and relevant documents required by the government but the joyous part is being involved in their exit plan. It’s her pleasure to see rescued kids placed in loving foster and adoptive families and having a place they can call home and people they can relate to as family. Their lives changes drastically to the best after sometime of placement.
Their happiness, joy and smiles inspires her to work even harder to recruit more adoptive parents to be able to place more rescued kids into caring families. All in all, the work is not a walk in the park because it’s not easy for her to identify and approve the best and genuine family to place the kids. A lot of assessment, interviews and training are involved. In her spare time, she likes visiting homes of less fortunate because she likes touching lives of needy people as much as she can with her services. She believes service to people is service to God.
Last year she was able to place 6 kids in a family set up with 3 pairs of siblings and 3 in a foster families. She is looking forward to place more rescued kids in families. She supports her director’s master plan to buy a100 acres of land and build homes. The kids will live in a family set up of 6 kids and a care mother. Also in the land, there will be schools, church and solar system for the kids and as sustainability of rescue center. The idea is to have permanent homes for the rescued kids who will not have a chance to be adopted or fostered and also to reduce expenses and be independent. Having the master plan become a reality will be a great accomplishment to entire Home of Hope family.
